Has anyone else received an email to validate their sky email account

It is asking me to click on a link to validate the account or lose the account

This is a scam email designed to capture your details so don't use that link and mark this email (and anymore you get) as spam so it gets deleted.

I'm not sure if this is related but I have received the following message supposedly from Sky VIP sayin that I should change me email

I have had no prior notification from Sky that this change was about to happen.

I guess I should just ignore it and consign it to the trash bin.

That is a scam email as well, you will note that it appears to have come from a personal email address and also that is doesn't address you by your first name and instead says "Dear User". There also is no classic version of Sky email so mark these types of emails as spam.
