Gmail POP3 Collection
Hi,
I currently use Gmail POP3 collection for my Sky Yahoo Email account so everything is in one place (I use Android phone and Gmail web). POP3 collection is being turned off by Google so I'm looking at alternate options. Everything I have is using my Sky Yahoo address so changing to the Gmail one will be a right pain.
Yahoo Mail has a Plus paid option which adds 'Auto forwarding' but when I try to subscribe while signed in with my Sky Yahoo account it eventually fails - it does let me get all the way to filling in payment details etc. then fails when clicking confirm with a 'content blocked' error.
Has anyone managed to subscribe? Reverting to the Yahoo Mail app and website is not an option because I refuse to have my emails injected with ads.
Thanks

Re: Gmail POP3 Collection
@lanky_doodle while Yahoo Mail and Sky Yahoo Mail are based on the same platform, they're run as separate services and accounts. I imagine that's why you can't subscribe to a Yahoo service with a Sky Yahoo Mail account.

I did something similar a number of years ago when I moved everything from my previous ISP to Gmail so yes it is a pain but in my view it is well worth doing as not only are you not tied into an ISP Gmail in my view is more reliable that what Yahoo is.
