Emails hacked and deleted

Someone hacked into my email account last night and has deleted all of my emails from the last 3 months, some of which are incredibly important. Some of them are in my trash folder but not all of them, anyone know if I can recover the ones that were deleted from the trash? I know that things are never deleted permenantly from the internet so they must be out there somewhere. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Also check that no filters or reply to addresses have been put on your account and also change your password:
