Email times

Hi, i'm using safari on iPhone for my Sky emails and for some reason the times of my emails are wrong. It's currently 19.04 an my most recent email recieved a few minutes ago says 00.34. It's like it's changed my time zone. I have location on on my phone an i'm in England.

Close the apple mail app down.

Then go to Settings on your iphone, then Mail, and you should see your Sky email account so select it and you should be able to enter your password, try your normal one here first and if that doesn't work go back and enter the 16 digit one. On both occations you will then need to load up the apple mail app again.

As a test, could you try another browser, such as Chrome, and see if that also shows the same times?

I can only assume Yahoo thinks you are in a different time zone, but can't imagine where it may be getting that information from.

As you are using an iPhone could you not use the Mail app, and see if that is also incorrect?

Re: Email times

I don't use the mail app, it doesn't link to my account, it created a different email address.

The Mail app can link to multiple accounts, not just one.

So if you are seeing a message like the password one then are you using the Mail app on your device or something like Outlook ?

@caesarome

@steve1977 is trying to see if the times are incorrect if he used the Apple mail app instead of Safari.

Cheers @jayach

If you are using the mail app there is one more thing you could try if the generated password doesn't work so let us know how you get on with the 16 digit password in place of your usual one.
