Email login
I upgrade my handset (both through sky) when my new handset arrived everything transferred over apart from my emails, they kept stating the login password for the email wasn't correct. I contacted sky ans they operative I spoke to advised me to remove the email from my device and then re add it, this would solve the problem (stupidly I did this!). When I tried to re add the email my two step verification code came up, like many others the code never arrived, so I contacted sky again (because I have nothing better to do with my evening) after being redirected through the broadband help desk and three different other operatives I requested to have my two step authentication turned off which they said would do, after 5 days I contacted them again as the two stage verification still hadn't been removed! On speaking to them again (just 57 minutes this time) I was told that the technical department had refused to turn it off as not all avenues had been explored by the operative! So I again went through everything and was told it was not Sky's problem it was Yahoo and sky couldn't do anything, to say I am at my whits end is an understatement. I am now nearly 4 weeks without my emails and can't see a light at the end of the tunnel. (Plus before anyone mentions about recovery codes I never received one!
Any help will be gratefully received! TIA

@Bally11 I'm afraid you'll have to either wait for the Verification Code problem to be fixed, or else persevere witn your request to Sky to turn off 2 step login on your behalf. They have a back office team that can do that.
This has nothing to do with Yahoo - they won't help with this.
Your Recovery Code was displayed on screen when you set up 2 step login. Setting up 2 step login cannot complete unless you confirm that you've made a note of the displayed Recovry Code.
