Email folders on android

my sky yahoo mail is a shambles. Firstly, folders keep randomly disappearing, complete with all contents.

Next I have now got some 15 folders with "Inbox/********.  All  "inbox/ , followed by a named folder which is already present in my folders. Why are these being spawned? It is now almost impossible to find anything in this dreadfull system, and vital saved emails are disappearing along with the folders.

If you are finding Sky Yahoo email a pain to use then why not use an alternative like Gmail instead.

As to why this is happening I would have a clue but it is worth checking this:

Login to your online account:

https://skyid.sky.com/signin/email/

Go to Settings > More Settings > Filters and remove anything that you did not setup.

Then go to Settings > More Settings > Mailboxes > Your email address > Reply-to address

And again remove anything here that you did not setup.

If you have had to make any changes then logout and change your password:

Re: Email folders on android

Well that wasn't enlightning . Clicked the link, signed into my account and got my email page. Care to tell me where to find " settings" because there is no "settings" tab there.

It is the screw like icon on the right of the page so select that and then you should see more settings.

Re: Email folders on android

There isn't anything like that on ANDROID. There is on my Windows laptop but that does not have a problem. There is no Gear icon for settings on the android Yahoo mail.

The multiple  inbox/*** mailboxes are only on my Android devices, not on my Windows one.

I have a Gmail address, but I have mailboxes in my Sky  Yahoo  mail going back for decades and some very important stuff. My Sky email is also the one I use for business and for sports club contacts.

@qprdude

Android is an operating system, it is not an email app.

You need to say which email app you are using, and try at least one other to see if the "problem" occurs on both.

Personally I would recomment Outlook, but there are many others.

How does that help?

I did, and your other posts.

For someone who is asking for advise, your attitude means you won't get any from me.

Re: Email folders on android

I didn't much like your inference that I didn't know android was a platform and not an email app. What a condescending person you sound.  My original post said "My SKY YAHOO EMAILS IS A SHAMBLES".  Pretty clear really, I would have thought. As for not giving any advice, I am forever grateful for that.
