Email addresses
Hi
Is it possible for someone else to have & use the same sky. com email address?
I am asking this question because I have received an email with attachments relating to the confirmation of someone purchasing goods from a reputable store which looks genuine.
Should I be contacting Sky/yahoo mail to have this looked into how this has happened?

Re: Email addresses
It might be that someone has a similar email address to you and that they have mistyped their one so hence you receiving the email, personally I would just delete it and move on as I don't think it is worth taking it any further.

Re: Email addresses
I,agree with @caesarome . For z while I was getting emails intended for someone with the same name as me, whose email address had no full stop between first and last names, whereas mine does. It's an easy mistake for someone writing down the email address to assume there's a full stop when there shouldn't be, thereby sending the email to the wrong person.

Re: Email addresses
I agree with the other replies. I get it all the time, but in those emails I'm addressed as Janet, Jane, Jason and a couple of others I've forgotten. It's easily done.
The obvious spam ones I ignore, but if it seems genuine I try to let the company/sender know they have the wrong address for the intended recipient.
