I haven't got the mobile number I used when I signed up with my email address. So I don't receive the verification code sent to my phone when I change my password

Find out moreSo this is to do with the two step verification, when you signed up to 2FA you were given a recovery code so you can use this to sign into your account as it with turn 2FA off allowing to set it up again with your new mobile number. If you didn't make a note of this then you will have to contact Sky but there is a 21 day wait for your account to be unlocked.
To sign in with the recovery code select the can't sign in with the code" link. You'll then be asked for the recovery code.
