EMAILS

I HAVE JUST CHANGED MY BROADBAND AND LANDLINE TO SKY FROM BT. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO ABOUT MY EMAILS.

@Dextermilward  You need to be asking BT?  Email services don't transfer over.  

 

PS please don't use all capitals as it malkes it look like you are shouting at the forum.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@Dextermilward I don't know whether BT allow you to keep your email address when you cancel - you'd need to check with them, as @GD1 posted. They might if you pay a monthly fee.

 

Sky don't provide new email addresses so if you can't keep your BT address you'll need to sign up with a third party provider like Gmail or Hotmail - both free.

When I transferred from BT to Sky after a while they wanted to charge me a "small fee" to keep my BT address going as a non customer of theirs. A quick Google suggests that you can keep your BT email account but have a basic service or pay £7.50 a month from a premium service.
