Delete Yahoo email account

Hi

I've changed to gmail and want to delete my yahoo email account, how do I do this? I've tried looking at the options available, but there doesn't appear to be one to delete the account

You can either simply not log in and your account will eventually be deleted as inactive, or you could call to ask Sky to delete it manually. Just to advise you, that if you decide to call, you may struggle to find an adviser who knows what needs to be done to achieve it.

Yes, I've read some of the remarks from other users about contacting Sky and the difficulties they have experienced in deleting the Yahoo account. Surely, somebody knows how to delete Yahoo online isn't that what the Internet is all about? To do things yourself without contacting the supplier !

There's no Sky provided online way of deleting  your account. You could try Yahoo's help here - I've no idea if it will work: https://uk.help.yahoo.com/kb/close-reactivate-yahoo-account-sln2044.html

Thanks for the link, I've tried using it, but it says they don't recognise the account and yet this is the same account I signed in with. Yahoo is absolute rubbish, hence that is why I have switched to gmail which is error free.
