Cannot complete 2 step verification as mobile number no longer in use.

Attempting to access an email account used my my step dad who passed away.

However I do not know the set up code he used. Also the mobile phone number used to verify the account is no longer active.

Can anyone help as my Mother needs access to this account?

Have you checked to see if your step dad set up 2 step login? It's not mandatory. If he did, I think, you'll need to contact Sky to sort it out for you. I assume you know,the email address and password for his account.

As your step dad has died, you or your Mother, may get more help from the bereavement department.
