My iPhone mail stopped receiving mail and asked for the password to be re-entered. I've entered the username and then get the response:"We are unable to process your request..." (see attached pic). I've waited and each time I enter the username the wait period gets longer. I have also deleted the account and tried to set it up from scratch but I still get the same message. I cannot get to the password entry stage. I am able to access my email account via the web. Help!!

I get the same thing. I have tried selecting provider yahoo as well as other and still the same. My iPhone is up to date, I have removed the account and get the error when trying to re add. I can access my account through iPad and desktop so only and issue with iPhone

All now resolved thank you. Had to download yahoo mail app. Then it would let me re-add to normal mail app, then delete yahoo mail app
