Can I password protect an individual folder set up on my Sky Yahoo email account?
I have set up a folder on my Sky Yahoo email account and would like to protect/secure this particular folder as it contains some sensitive emails. Is this possible? and if so, how?

So far as I'm aware, that's not possible if you're accessing your email via a browser. If you're using an app, it may depend on what the app provides, but I haven't come across one which allows you to protect a particular folder.

Thanks for the reply. It's a real shame as this means a hacked account could cost me dearly. I mistakenly thought that my data would be able to be properly protected by Sky or Yahoo.

Re: Can I password protect an individual folder set up on my Sky Yahoo email account?
I'm not aware of any other email provider that offers it either.
To protect your security make sure you have a strong password (not a word you can find in a dictionary or related to you or your family) and consider setting up two step login. If you set it up, follow Sky's instructions to the letter and make sure you have a separate note of the one-time Recovery Code you'll be issued.

Be alert to phishing, and fake emails purporting to come from Sky. They're the means by which most people who think they've been 'hacked' actually give away their passwords.
