Auto suggest for contacts when writing email has stopped working in Firefox

Hi. When I compose emails via Firefox, the auto suggest for contacts has suddenly stopped working. It is OK if I access emails on my phone. The contacts are still there if I search them, but they aren't displaying automatically in the side bar.  I can't find this issue on the normal help. I've rebooted the computer and checked Firefox is up to date.

Any suggestions please?

Does the same happen if you try using a different web browser instead of Firefox ?

It is the same on Chrome (doesn't work) but is working fine on my Android phone

I have managed to resolve this by re-importing my contacts into Firefox from my Google account. NB if I tried to export the contacts from Google to Firefox it wouldn't load them.

Also, I thought it was working on my phone, but turns out it was using the phones contacts. If you opened Yahoo through the browser it also didn't work. Definitely a problem with Yahoo.
