Are the emails from sky about ending an older version of sky email genuine? Thanks

I'm receiving emails from Sky saying they're closing my account is this genuine or spam. Thanks

Probably spam, what else do these emails say ?

Hi. They just say that sky will not support older versions of sky email, and will shut my account. They want you to click on a link to verify my account (which I haven't done)

My phone is up to date and use my email nearly everyday.  So should be a new version. Thanks

No they is a classic spam emails as there is no version that you need to update so. These emails get posted on here pretty much everyday.

Mark them a spam and keep doing it should you be sent anymore.

That's all part of the scammers strategy. They're hoping people willl think it must be genuine if they repeat it. But it's not.
