I tried to log into my Sky email on Wednesday evening to be met with the "Account Locked" error, after several phone calls on Thursday I was asked to reset the password and guided to the link to do so however upon a password reset I'm met with the "Unexpected Error" page. After a couple more phone calls I was assure this would be fixed within 24 hours, this hasn't been the case.
This is email is accessed only from a Web browser and several times a day, it is connected to my entire online persona, all my accounts for everything are attached to it and I have some important emails on there, I need this account back ASAP, what can I do?

I've tried clearing the cache, using different browsers and different computers and my phone and on different broadband/5g connections, also incognito mode.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more'Fixed within 24 hours...' sounds like a way of getting you off the phone to me. I'm afraid you'll have to call Sky back to follow this up.

Was the password change successful when you tried it? (i.e. did the password change)

I don't have subscriptions anymore with Sky but I rely heavily on the email address as I've had it for 15 years. When I change the password it takes me to an error page saying "Unexpected error" but it is sending an email to my recovery account to say that the password has been changed. I've tried going straight to the Yahoo website to login as well as the sky website but both are showing the account as locked.

hi i have exactly the same problem. the phone number just gives me a computer voice i cant actually speak to human

No, but the account should still exist. I left in about 2010, but can still log into my account.
So, can you login here with your Sky email address?
Also. have you tried to access the email via an app rather than via the webpage?

The link you sent me I have tried and it tells me the account is locked, I've tried the yahoo app which also tells me the account is locked and when I try a 3rd party app it locks on the logging in page so presume it's continuously rejecting the details.
