Good stuff @Roger00 , just note that should you set it up again yoh must make a note of the recovery code that is clearly shown on screen.

Re: 2 step verification

That's actually not true. I changed my landline which is no longer access to my mobile and Sky set up two step verification without me saying I wanted this and I can't find a way of removing it!

@nickireynolds you haven't said what's not true, but anyway you can turn off 2 step verification by using your Recovery Code.

You will have to explain that a little better, there should be no connection between your landline and mobile numbers.

If you are receiving the 2FA codes, you shorld be able to turn it off as explained here:

Two-step verification for Sky Yahoo Mail | Sky Help | Sky.com | Sky Help | Sky.com

Re: 2 step verification

Problem is, when I tried to access that as directed, I got a message that Sky no longer uses Yahoo Mail!  What I meant before was that I accessed my account details simply to change my contact number to my mobile and that put in the two step without me wanting it and now I can't get rid!

@nickireynolds have you tried using b your Recovery Code to turn it off? Or the Account Manager as @jayach posted?

Just what did you try to access?

That is strange, nobody else has reported that. However using the info I posted earlier shoudl allow you to turn it off.

Re: 2 step verification

It didn't but, to be honest, there are some very strange things happening on my account, for example, Sky have been trying for six weeks now to cancel my Broadband but that's still not happened as the system is overriding the cancellation and, again, they've never seen this on anyone else's account, I guess I'm just very unlucky..
