It would have been provided by Sky when you set 2FA up. You would also have had to tick a box to agree you have made a copy and saved it

Same issue in April 2026 for me so nothing has changed. Locked out of my account. The two step verfication code not sent. Contacted Customer Services and asked for it to be switched off as I never requested it in the first place they said three days now 7 days and still no action. Complaint page has no option box to complain about this issue,. So guess they are going to get another general complaint about an issue the have known about for years. Really bad service and customer service.

@David+John+White 2FA for Sky Yahoo Mail was introduced less than three years ago. The issue affecting some customers relating to non-receipt of Verification Codes arose around 3 weeks ago. Sky have acknowledged the issue here and are investigating.

It was taken more than 42 days to turn off my two step verification and I have no access to the codes!!! This is the three time I have mafe htis request. Hopeless

If you are still not recieving the codes, have you checked your spam folder (no, I didn't know phones had one), see this post:
