A whopping 75% of callers are now interacting with the new Sky Jukebox offering! And since we've implemented it, we've been having some fantastic feedback, so we thought we'd share it with you.
Our top genre is Easy Listening, featuring songs from artists like Louis Armstrong, Nina Simone and Dusty Springfield. Pop also appears to be one of our favourite music genres, with Rock coming in as the least chosen
'No Selection' represents callers who pressed an option that doesn’t exist i.e. 0,6,9 etc or they may have not made any selection at all. These callers would have heard instrumental music for their queuing period
Agent: How can I help today?
Customer: I was just enjoying the music, to be honest!
Agent: Was it anything decent?
Customer: I chose rock, I was quite impressed that you get to choose a different genre!
Agent: Was there a bit of Meatloaf?
Customer: No. *proceeds to sing ‘all right now’*
Customer: If I can also offer some positive feedback I think it's the first time I’ve ever been able to choose the type of music that’s on while I’m waiting. I thought it was a brilliant move; I like the music, but also having the choice was brilliant….it gives you five choices, and it's the first time I’ve ever known any organisation do that!
Agent: Thank you so much for your patience coming through to me today, I can see you have had a little bit of a wait there so thank you so much.
Customer: It’s good that you have the music choices.
Agent: Oh, can you choose the music as well?
Customer: Yeah, if you choose between Rock, Easy Listening and Classical, it’s quite good!
Agent: Just out of curiosity, what did you go for?
Customer: Last time it was Easy Listening, so this time I went for Rock.

Can I just make an observation before we begin? The options to choose your hold music I think is brilliant idea. It gives you the options! I mean, I’ve been stuck on hold with Admiral Car Insurance for the better part of 40 minutes with a very repetitive, short, annoying tone - it drives you mad! I was pleasantly surprised to actually be able to choose the different type of music. I don't know if there's an option to if you’ve had enough of one type of music if you can then switch to another..?

Customer: I did like the fact I was allowed to choose the music. I’ve never come across that before, yeah. You could choose Pop music, Rock music, Dance music, Easy Listening...
Agent: It’s almost worthwhile being in a queue! (laughs)
Customer: Almost! (laughing)
