you're broadband isnt with us- it is and its not good!

we signed up to sky broadband from BT, full fibre 500. engineers came and set it up, and we have been using it for 3 weeks, the signal is really patchy and keeps dropping out.  tried to call sky who told us our broadband was cancelled (on the day it was set up) and apparently we dont have broadband with sky- despite still using it.  spoke to 9 people who could not help and couldnt understand why and said it was a back office query, have lodged a complaint due to sheer frustration.  on our account we have been billed for the fibre 500 broadband but on the service checker it says you're broadband isnt with us. the signal is terrible- bit on checking on an online checher we are on sky and it is 500mb, althoug kids say dropping back to 3g all the time in phones. not really sure what to do next!

@sarah3810 Run the following www.whatismyipaddress.com and see who it returns. My IP Information tells you who you are with and it should be ISP: Sky Broadband.....

@sarah3810 most likely cause for the message saying broadband is not with Sky is thst you are not digned in with the Sky id linked to the broadband account. You can get all of your Sky accounts linked to a single id as explained here https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-id-start-new-t1
