wifi

Do I need a wifi 7 router to replace the hub i've go now as Im going over to 150mbs full fiber

An asus rt ax wifi 6 router would suffice.  It will replace the sky hub and directly connect to the fibre ont

Not a direct replacement but only requires minor configuration.

Thanks. I'll have to look at some youtube video's then as I have'nt a clue with networking and routers alike.

WiFi 7 is entirely unnecessary for most practical purposes: WiFi 6 is of questionable benefit.

 

Note that if you don't use a Sky Hub, you cannot have Sky 'landline' telephony.

With the asus rt ax routers there is a field called client identifier (option 61) simply type in

 

anything@skydsl|anything

 

And ethernet the asus to the ont
