Re: thinking of joining
@olliekitch the speed you get depends on thectype of connection. Presumably currently you haveca partial fibre connection which uses a copper phone line to your home. Thec61Mb/s advertised is the average speed of all Sky customers on thst product not thecspeed your line will support which could be upmto 80Mb/s or lower it depends on the length of the copper line.. Before you buy you will given a minimum speed for your line.
The 150Mb/s and higher spedds are for full fibre connections here you broadly get what you order currently upmto 900Mb/s as the fibre line lengthbis not a factor. Around half UK addresses have access to full fibre. Sky will allow customers to uograde products while under contract.

Re: thinking of joining
It shouldn't be possible to order 150Mbs service over FTTP at an address only served by FTTC.
There's a small chance you're seeing a G.fast service: Sky is one of the very few ISPs still reselling that technology.

Re: thinking of joining
@olliekitch you will be able to switch to full fibre but the price may change beforecyou move however as full fibre is cheaper for Sky I would not expect there would be much difference.

My point is you probably can't currently qualify for that offer. Whether it still exists on the date you move is up to the Sky marketing department.
