speed comparisons - website vs actual user tests
While the website here advises my hub is seeing very good speeds (c300mbs) my real time tests on my laptop or phone are showing c70mbs
How can this be? Either my hub is throttling the wifi or its faulty?

As you're quoting speed tests on your phone, I guess you're testing over WiFi rather than using a direct connection to the hub with an Ethernet cable.
If the website you're referring to is Sky's, they will be measuring speed to your hub; speed from the hub to your devices will always be less especially if you're doing it via WiFi.
