sky hub activated remotely not working for new customer

I have received the hub.

I waited for all the steps being completed remotely.

I got a confirmation of completion.

I connected the everything.

STill only the red light is on.

Sky Wifi network is visible and devices can connect, but no internet.

 

I even found an old DSL filter I had (sky didn't provide one in the first place) but that doesn't do the trick either.

I follow all the steps, everything seems to be in order from the broadband checker, but still as soon as the devieces connect I get the popup showing how to check connections, leading to "Restart the hub" which triggers everything all over again.

Frustrating

@mcan1 if the activation is due today it may not be completed as yet it can happen anytime up,to midnight. There is no point calling Sky until the following day when Openreach should have reported back.
