sky broadband

I switched from bt broadband to sky broadband, the person I spoke to said sky would pay £100 to bt because I was still in contract so would have a early termination fee which I expected. I have just received my final bill from bt & sky has not paid bt anything. Could someone explain to me how this works please?

@Cazfred1 Sky won't pay BT anything, you have to pay the fee and then Sky will credit upto £100 to your Sky account.

@Cazfred1 It works that YOU and YOU alone pay the whole final bill that BT have sent you, Nothing else!

Some unfortunate phrasing in that text. You pay BT, Sky reimburse you.

It's explained in that link in post 2. It comes as a credit on your Sky account.
