@Joshdunc4 If you have a Fibre only FTTP connection to the OR ONT then the cables you have are all that is required, the PURPLE ended are only for the OLD copper FTTC connection!

Post a picture off the other end that you are trying to plug into, OR Master socket then you will need a cable, if it is missing, sky do normally get the hub out right spec, what speed package did you buy from sky!

You may be waiting for an ONT to be installed (or missing one entirely)

If it's in the UK, putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which broadband provisioning type is applicable.

https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome

It's the table and the two text lines below it which are most useful.

Remove any personal information (such as the address itself) if you post an image.

That confirms it's FTTP, so the wall socket is obsolete.

Could you post just the two lines of text under the table that contains the speed data, starting with 'Our records show...'

'ONT exists with active service'

That means there should already be an optical cable and Openreach terminal unit: unfortunately it's possible that the latter has been removed by the previous occupants.

You could look for evidence of the thin white cable with rectangular green jack plug, typically low down on a wall near a double power socket, or sometimes concealed in a cupboard or under stairs unit.

Re: setting up sky max hub

I’m quite certain the previous tennents have probably taken that away this is all that's left and what you have there's nothing like that around the flat

Certainly not the one in your picture: a master socket has no functionality once FTTP is at an address.

This isn't a subdivided dwelling unit?

No it's just a normal flat i share with 3 of my other flatmates none of them would've touched anything so it's been left how it was

OK, if you've looked everywhere (both inside and out) and cannot find any evidence of either ONT or optical cable then you'll need to call Sky and let them know.
