scanning problems due to braodband settings

HP cant scan to my new pc because of having to change my broadband settings, trying to get through to sky is like trying to find Shergar, any ideas folks?

What broadband settings exactly? There is nothing on the Sky hub that would stop your printer locally scanning to a PC.
