Alarm light is showing solid on ont full fibre box. internet is working with advertised speed but drops out from time to time. Fibre was installed approx 3 months ago and alarm light is on now for a couple of weeks. Ive tried re-starting but it doesnt seem to make any difference.

As @cookiemonsteruk indicates, if you have an early model ONT with a battery backup unit then a red LED on the BBU just indicates it's no longer capable of holding a useful charge: this doesn't actually affect the broadband itself.
The light would be in the middle of the lower right cluster.

It could either be a battery back up unit losing charge or a failed ont firmware upgrade
Either way report it to sky

Is it the alarm on your o n t box, is it like this
if it's that alarm I would ring sky, to get open reach engineer out to look at it
