problem launching Zoom or Facebook

I need Zoom to attend meetings from home,  when i try to launch Zoom it buffers for a few minutes then says the site took too long to respond and I can't get in.  The same with Facebook.

@Jmacmillan24 check the serting of Sky Broadband Shield which by default can block certain sicial networking sites. The setting is in the Product Options section of the My Sky website or app.
