openreach

I was due to have fibre activated on the 9th of Sept.

The engineer suggested the duct is blocked and further works are required (installing new ducts to protect the cable)

Last text from sky is that I will updated on the 4th of Nov

Any ideas how long this will take ?

@BrianD74

Unfortunately that's entirely dependent on the complexity of the task and the availability of necessary Openreach resources.  For a dig under pavement or roadway there are also legal processes to work through before anything else can happen.

Sky isn't going to have any information other than that which Openreach provides.

Re: openreach

Thanks for your reply.

The engineer who came intially suggested that there was a blockage next to road on the grass and "should be a quick fix" and now they are saying they have to connect it right back to the cabinet 😞
