You aren’t contacting Sky Customer Services here. This is a customer led discussion forum where Sky customers are available to try to help other customers.

Why was the engineer visiting? You'll need to contact Sky to ascertain why there was a no show.

Re: no engineer visit on 21st July

I got a text today 24th July informing me they need permission off over reach before they can come out . What a load of **bleep**, I have been with them since 2000  and their service was bad, and  do not remember  how  many  times  I stopped my direct debit and closed my account but they always come back to me with good offers.One offer was one full year free. these new owners seem worst, only interested in money and nothing else. They even put the phone down when you are complaining. I do not think I  will  be a customer in the near future.Who can you trust as they are all the same

@Edwin8

Things have changed since 2000 (I joined in 2001 myself). Nowadays if you stop your payment method it causes you problems like restrictions, can't call Sky, late payment fees etc.

At the end of the day Comcast are a business and their shareholders will want to see a profit.

Agents are only human. There's complaining, and there's using industrial language (I see the filters on here have removed the bad language in your reply) so I'm sure they will hang up if you've perhaps overstepped the mark.

If you are upgrading to fibre then Openreach need permission from you to do some work on the grounds of your property, so for example they might need to make a hole in your garden.
