Re: my security cameras will not connect to my updated broadband
All current Sky Hub models broadcast the same network name on both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz simultaneously. This is entirely different to the fifth generation of cellular technology referred to as 5G.
With a white Max Hub you may need to reduce the wireless security level from WPA3 to WPA2-PSK using the Hub settings in the My Sky app.
You can use the same settings to temporarily disable the 5Ghz WiFi band: remember to re-enable it afterwards if you do this.
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2

Re: my security cameras will not connect to my updated broadband
@tina155 Did you also change your sky Hub, that alone is not a faster upgrade so you did either one or both at the same time? Most camera systems do operate on the 2.4Ghz band due to the power and lower speed, but there are a few 5Ghz operating ones, as you do not say.
What sky Hub you are using and also the camera make/model info, someone may be able to help. May even be on the Forum if someone has done it before!
