I know that i cant use my black sky router in modem mode and currently the internet on my velop system is very intermittent, is there anything i can do?
My velop was reset to factory setting (what a pain that was to get working again) and its worked ok for a bit but yesterday its brought this fault up, its coming up with no internet but i can access it fine.

Re: issues with sky hub and linksys velop
@Stevemk2 Do you have the sky hub as the primary and the velop as a secondary connected to the sky hub, Ethernet connected Wan of velop to Lan off the sky, Router Mode, AP mode, etc which way is it?

Re: issues with sky hub and linksys velop
I have the cable coming into the sky box from the fiber box, then another cable goes to my primary tower, I don't have it plugged into the wan port, should I?
The router is how it was delivered, I've been in the settings and I'll I can find is change password and turn WiFi off
White cable to fiber
Black to velop

Re: issues with sky hub and linksys velop
I'd note the ethernet from the ONT is supposed to connect to port #4 on the Sky Hub.

Re: issues with sky hub and linksys velop
@Stevemk2 Hard to see what you have done, and how you have it all working but the ONT lan cable goes to the Sky hub and it is marked WAN on it and is the very Right hand RJ45 Port 4 connection, can not see it from the picture you sent so go take a look yourself...

Re: issues with sky hub and linksys velop
Thanks for your reply, what is the ONT, is that the white box the fibers comes into?

Re: issues with sky hub and linksys velop
@Stevemk2 If not you may just have to go look on the velop side, do not mean to be blunt, but do you know what you are doing from some off the replies i suspect not!

Re: issues with sky hub and linksys velop
@Stevemk2 It's not an issue, easier to know where to pitch the response level at, i've been doing it 45+ years so keep forgetting to tone it down and not make assupmtions that people already know, that's all MY mistakes nothing to do with you!
Glad to help, you need anything just shout!👍
