ipv6 port forwarding/triggering not working
For my sins, I run a fidonet system and need port 24554 forwarded. Whilst it works in ipv4, ipv6 doesn't work. People can connect via ipv4 but not ipv6
this is the totals so far today
Sessions: 448 222↓ 226↑ (16✗). IPv4: 389 222↓ 167↑ IPv6: 59 0↓ 59↑
I know 2 of my links cannot connect to the ipv6 port

Re: ipv6 port forwarding/triggering not working
@thecivvie what colour Sky hub are you using? I suspect though that a simple Sky hub is not suitable for your requirements as they are heavily locked down.

Re: ipv6 port forwarding/triggering not working
It is the new high speed circular white one. Oddly it seems to have allowed in some connections yesterday but not today

Re: ipv6 port forwarding/triggering not working
@thecivvie sounds like Sky's Gigafast+ hub which are provided with the very fast City Fibre products. There are extremly limited options on these units by design but Sky's network fully supports IP6 so in theory you should not have issues. Unfortunately Sky do not support much more than the basics on their domestic services so users wanting greater control to run other servicescsre best advised to buy a router that gives them the configuration tools they require.
If you are on a City Fibre service connecting a third party router should be straightforward as you can use DHCPv6 PD to enable authentication which most routers can handle. Openreach connections can require the older DHCPv4 Option61 which is not as widly supported.
