internet lagging and dropping

Good morning we are still haveing ongoing issues with our connection at home i have done all the troubleshooting methods possible but the issue still persists, My husband was sat in the living room NEXT TO THE HUB and using his moblie internet as sky was not connecting, I am constanly having to connect to the extender box I HAD TO BUY just to get internet in my kitchenwhich is 25 feet way from the hub and it still drops off and takes its time loading, You offer great value for money which it is but the service is shocking.

I would appreciate some help with this, if the problem still persists after 2 weeks i will be cancelling with you AGAIN and going elsewhere.

@VDimmock you are not talking to Sky by posting in this forum. To clarify you have 31 days in t he UK from the start of the contract to camcel without charge after that you will be charged cancellation charges unless Sky agree to waive those. 

You should get reasonable WiFi coverage in the room the hub is placed. So firstly check it is connected by checking the lights on the unit see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/hub-lights-explained-start if it is check there is nothing blocking the WiFi signal bt ensuring the hub is out in the open off the floor on a surface out in the open.  While Sky hubs are not the greatest they do work and so you should get decent WiFi in the same room if you are at least a metre from the hub.

Using third party WiFi boosterscwith the newer Sky hubs can be hit and miss as the hub's use higher channels in the 5GHz band which some boosters cannot use so you can just extend tge slower 2.4GHz band. The dolution is to either use Sky's own extenders tgst comexas part of the Sky WiFi Max bundle or buy a third party multi unit WiFi extender system and use that which I do myself.
