i'm being asked to return a sky booster that i've never had?

I've recently cancelled Sky and they are asking for the router and the booster to be returned. I have the router but have never received a booster. I dont want to be charged for an item i dont have?

That is probably a standard letter / email that you've received. Just return the router in the packaging provided and keep your proof of posting safe and indefinitely.
