Sorry to jump on this I've had this problem after an update.

i go to the page and put admin for user then have tried both sky and my wifi password but it says not found... any suggestions?

@Nontechheather Sky max hub and the Sky Broadband hub are the password on the card back off the hub label or the bottom off the hub label.

 

The older two hubs Sky Q and the Sky hub are sky forr the password.

We lost contact with all our Ring cameras around 4pm on Sunday but we didn't notice until 10pm when dog went into rear garden.

 Funny thing was the tv wasn't too happy in the evening either.

Magic lights hadn't come on as scheduled either. 
Numerous resets still wouldn't reconnect the Ring cameras or the Tapo plugs.

It was while reading problem solving in the Ring app that the, 'only connects to 2.4GHz' made me wonder what GHz fibre actually is.

 

Thats how I found this thread and solved the problem.

@Robtayfan all Sky hubs broadcast a dualband WiFi signal using bith the 2.4GHz and 5GHz band. Ring equipment should hsve no issue connecting to thecsignal. It isxworth rebooting the hub as your issue could be interference from other networks using the 2.4GHz band which can get highly congested acreboot makes your hub find ghe best channel to use.

When the fibre was installed a couple of months ago, everything connected, no issue.

Since Sunday I've rebooted the modem a couple of times, turned power off for 4hrs ?overnight,  factory reset the Ring's, all to no avail.

Took advice on here, went into the router settings and added "5ghz" to that setting.

Ring's & Tapo connected no issue as they are using the 2.4Ghz on original password they have saved. 

I have no idea what changed on Sunday afternoon BUT something did. Maybe an upgrade?

@Robtayfan the issue with WiFi is it is vulnerable to the level of interference not just from your neighbours' WiFi networks but also from non WiFi wireless kit like cordless phones. In addition faulty electrical equipment can cause issues. Considercany changes in your home you made around when this started as if it is interference the source will ,be close by.

 

Also check that the hub or any boosters are innthe bestvposition which is out in the open on a surface somthey are above obstructions like radiators. Any metal in the path of the signal will block it. Also make sure other kit that use wireless communication like speakers etc are away from near the hub.
