@Ciekawy1908  You would have to pay a hefty sum to leave your contract with BT early.

The below link explains Sky Credit Switch whereby Sky woukd credit you up to £100 if your current broadband provider charges you for exiting early. Be aware you initially have to pay the early termination fees and obtain proof of it on a final bill.

The £100 maximum available as a credit from Sky would cover a few months of penalty payment to BT, but absolutely isn't intended to buy out most of a minimum contract period: there's simply not enough profit margin in their own contract for Sky to do that.
