fibre broadband

Fibre broadband installed on the 19 Sept.  Since then can't make or receive calls on the landline.  Half way through dialing a number there is a message saying that the number is not recognised.  Tried phoning SKY on my mobile but the signal is poor and the connection with SKY agent is lost.  Sadly, it no longer works.  All this is very frustrating and annoying (and expensive), especially as it never was a problem in the past. 

Please help.

@butterfly7  what router do you have from Sky from the link below. Where is the phone plugged into just now?

Thank you for your answer @highlander.  According to my records I have SKYQ 1TB box.

The phone is plugged in to the socket in the wall through the microfilter.

Still no calls in or out since the 19 Sept.

@butterfly7  Have you tried to change out the filter? Is your broadband working as it is supposed to? Have you tried the phone in the socket without the broadband connected and just the phone plugged into the socket to see if you get a dial tone?
