fiber optic cable

So just found out landlord is repainting the flats due to bad job orginally done however i am worried that the'll damage the thing fiber  cable as seen in picture when they repaint as recently paints started coming off wall dont think they used undercoat

@KnogKnightso the glass fibre itself is thinner than a human hair and protected by a thick external  sheath that should be immune from the weather ,paint etc and is itself covering a layer of Kevlar and a second internal sheath,

unfortunatly they removed tthe thinker cable cover from it when it was installed so its super thin
