faster internet pack

hi, I wouldn like to upgrade my broadband package. at the moment on a 62,5Mbit.

online shows I can upgrade to 128 but when I sellect it it shows only to add a router.

so I think there is no Fibre optic cable coming to the appartment. we are a block of 32 Flats.

can I check if there is Fibre optic here? or when they planning to bring it in? is in Manchester-Salford area. seems wired no fibre optic in a block of apartments for me.

Putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which Openreach service is available.  It won't show services from Virgin or any alt-net full-fibre ISPs.

It's the table and the two text lines below it which are most useful.

@dsahasdf  You're talking to fellow customers so we have no idea what is or isn't available at your address.  You can check what is available using this link https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome

If you post the results (remove any address data 1st)  the forum can advise if full fibre is available to you.

'FTTP is not available' (first text line under the table)

Information on whether that particular area is scheduled for Openreach fibre deployment yet might be available on the Openreach website: Sky and any other Openreach client ISP won't be able to tell you.

@dsahasdf  As per @TimmyBGood   reply, in addition unless there is an Altnet provider such as Virgin Media, Community Fibre, City Fibre etc then you're relient on Openreach upgrading their network and will currently be stuck with your current FTTC service speeds.

That can't be from an Openreach-based ISP.  128Mbs is not a typical speed band anyway.
