does the purple cord come with your sky box to connect your phone i was with BT

i cant ring out or get calls on my land line 

it is an old BT phone

do i still plug th purple lead into the wall and my sky box 

even though that was also a BT conection

@lady+kimmy it depends as these days the landline can either use traditional phone sockets or plug into your Sky hub. If you have the newer vertical type of Sky hub which has 4 green leds on its front your phone. Plugs into the hub. If you have the older flat type of Sky hub or the vertical type without the fourth led lit then use your phone sovkets.
