Game playing does not require a lot of bandwidth but does require a steady data supply and given wifi is affected by interference that is why its never going to give a great experience. Using a booster can help but unles other devices are affected then there are better solutions for gaming like powerline networking thst usesctge mains wiring to carry the data.
