broadband and talk order delayed

I recieved a text saying my order had been delayed, it was originally booked for today 14/04/2025 and i was told id recieve an update today. I have not recieved any update and when i check my orders it still says the visit for my engineer will be today. What do i go off of to know it'll still happen today as im getting mixed communication and i cannot get through to an agent to ask.

@JessicaD1 if the text is from Openreach it is likely that is correct what can happen is the engineer assigned the job rolls up and realises it is not possible so cancels the call. Sky often dont know anything until the next day when the report is forwarded to them.

Yes, all I have is the Sky equipment is on it's way message, which i have already recieved (conversion kit)

@JessicaD1 Are you a sky customer just now waiting on a fibre upgrade, or just a straight swap from another ISP, conversion kit sounds like you are going from fttc to a fttp connection, and if that is not installed by OR yet then delayed by them!

Called and they said that they will be here today so, all good i guess, maybe the text was a time slot change or something?
