Xbox issues

My Xbox seems to lag out a lot more recently our sky broadband runs off an old telegraph pole(why they can't use the cable running up the drive God only knows) it's been windy recently or is it because the Xbox is not hard wired to the router?

It could be either or a mix of both.

Which Sky hub do you have?
