I reckon whatever speed you have opted for is going to be by full fibre fttp.
Isps are increasingly providing previous superfast fttc speeds via fttp

How can I discuss this and change just to normal home Internet access?
In a 'fibre priority exchange area' there typically won't be an option for an ISP to order service over existing copper: the assumption is that all new provision will involve the deployment of FTTP, which does almost inevitably require drilling to get the new optical cable inside the property (plus wall mounting an ONT)
