Wrong password

Hi, I’ve just set up my new Sky broadband router. I can see the WiFi name on my phone, but every time I enter the password (as printed on the back of the router), it says it’s incorrect. I haven’t changed anything, and the router is brand new. Could you please help me connect?

Hi @Ehab2 

Are you sure you are typing it correctly? A lot of the default passwords on Sky hubs use numbers that look like letters and vice versa. Also make sure you using caps/lowercase correctly as they are case sensitive.

In that case I would try a full reset of the hub. Hold the reset button on the rear of the hub for a minimum of 30 seconds

@Ehab2 The label on the back off the hub with the Wi-Fi network name, is that the same as yo see on your connecting device to the back off the hub. If so the password as you see it Uppercase Lowercase EXACTLY as you read it put that in... Watch out for the i / 1 & l / L they can be hard to see, Magnifying glass if it is 2 small, write it down on a piece off paper.....
