Work VPN

Good afternoon hope you are able to assist 🙂

 

I have recently needed to connect my work laptop from home through a VPN (Cisco)

 

When logging on to my work applications sometimes the connection is fine and works - other times it doesn't. 

I also have a sky mini box in the office which the VPN also interrupts when not working 

 

My IT department have suggested the VPN is being blocked by sky - Sky are suggesting the issue solely lies with the VPN (of which I have no option not to use for work purposes) and so I am in limbo somewhat!

 

Any advice you may have would be greatly appreciated

@BenAndFiona  Are you new to Sky and what colour is your Sky router that you have?

Hi thanks for getting back to me.

 

We have been with sky for 3 years now and have a black router.

 

All was fine until a few months ago when I had to start using a VPN for work
