I'm trying to cancel my broadband but I'm finding it impossible
I recently tried to cancel my broadband as I was having very low speeds. Upon doing so, I was told that I could be upgraded for free (which turned out to be exactly the same) and given a further 30 days cooling off period to try it out. It's been useless for my needs, so I need to cancel. The trouble is, I can't find out how?
I know live chat exists as I was on it before, but after over an hour of searching. I just can't find it anywhere this time around. I can't call on the phone as I'm not in a position to right now.
Can anyone point me in the direction of how I cancel? They said not to cancel direct debits etc, but as things stand it's looking like my only option? Every other product/service I have/use will have a cancellation option in the accounts section but Sky just say "contact them" without any email or live chat.
Any help or direction would be much appreciated!
All the best,
Tom

Re: I'm trying to cancel my broadband but I'm finding it impossible
@Tombo46
If you’re moving to another ISP you could use the One Touch Switching system which is explained in this link
https://www.uswitch.com/broadband/guides/one-touch-switch/
Do you mind me asking why you can't call at the moment as this may be the easiest and quickest option.
If you are cancelling Broadband/Talk altogether you need to contact Sky and give the required notice of 14 days. Remember that if you are still in a discounted 18/24 months deal Sky could impose cancellation charges.
Return packaging for any equipment Sky expect back will be sent out to you near the end of any notice period. Remember to keep any proof of posting indefinitely.
