Will a booster work?

We live in a granite house, and we have just built an Annex for my father in the garden (approx 150-200m from the house). I'm looking for a way of extending the wifi over there without having to pay for ab entirely separate package? Thanks in advance

Absolutely no chance a conventional domestic 'booster' will push a signal that far I'm afraid, and it's also outside what Powerline networking and even real ethernet can possibly do (ethernet has a 100 metre limit, Powerline maybe 60 metres at best)

If there's line of sight you might look at dedicated point-to-point wireless hardware from a specialist, otherwise only fibreoptic cable has that kind of reach.

Factory-made preterminated fibre is surprisingly cheap these days: the expensive bit is the installation.

Is there any chance you've still got a trench for electrical cable open, or a duct with a drawcord in it?

You'd also need to buy-in a pair of fibre-enabled switches and a modicum of network expertise.
